The LiViliti Smart Sanitizer is the only Sanitizer that is Mercury and Ozone Free. No downtime when your product is sanitized. Simply remove from the unit and your product is ready for use. Multiple research studies and reports show when biological organisms are exposed to deep UV light in the range of 200nm to 290nm it is absorbed by DNA, RNA and proteins. Absorption by proteins leads to the rupture of cell walls and death of the organism. Absorption by DNA or RNA is known to cause inactivation of the DNA or RNA double helix strands through the formation of thymine dimmers. When enough of these dimmers are created the DNA replication process is interrupted and the cell cannot replicate. There are NO known UVC resistant germs.

No insurance will not cover it as they see it as a luxury item for consumers.
Can I stop washing my equipment if I use a sanitizer?
No. Continue to follow the manufacturer's directions for cleaning your product. Sanitizers do not remove dead skin, oil, makeup, or other organic materials.
If I wash my pump parts do they have to be completely dry before sanitizing?
It is recommended for the greatest results for your pump parts to be dry.
Is there a smell from using sanitizer?
Yes, there can be a slight smell to using any sanitizing product. To reduce and eliminate any smells make sure the breast pump parts are cleaned of any debris with soap and water before sanitizing. If a smell continues, wash the breast pump parts with a cleaner such as a perfume free soap and set the machine to Sanitize and Smart Dry application to remove the smell.
