BabyBuddha Breast Pumps Through Insurance

About BabyBuddha

BabyBuddha was built around one idea: pumping should never hold you back. The brand focuses on portable, rechargeable breast pumps that pair strong suction with the freedom to move through your day. Whether you're chasing a toddler, heading to work, or squeezing in a session between errands, BabyBuddha's lineup is designed to keep up with you.

The BabyBuddha lineup now includes two distinct pumps - the BabyBuddha 2.0, the brand's primary portable pump, and the BabyBuddha Wearable, an in-bra companion pump launched in late 2025. Together, they give you a choice between a traditional portable setup with customizable suction control and a discreet, hands-free wearable option.

1 Natural Way carries both BabyBuddha pumps, and many moms qualify to receive one through their insurance plan. Ready to see your options? Check your insurance coverage now to find out which BabyBuddha pump may be available to you.

What Moms Are Saying About BabyBuddha

5.0

Such a great PORTABLE option that still has POWER. After my first, I wanted to figure out a better way to pump. I had tried the Spectra + Willow Go for home and work - it was not my favorite. The Spectra emptied me better and faster but I was stuck to the wall. Lots of reading, watching YouTube videos, and comments from forums/groups suggested, BabyBuddha 2.0 and I am happy to have gone this route. My insurance didn't cover this pump so 1NaturalWay was a huge win to get a pump at a discount when paying out of pocket. The process was simple and I love my BabyBuddha. I put it in my fanny pack and use wearable collection cups (Rumble Tuff Slims) - on the go pumping, relatively discreet, and no loss in power compared to being tethered to the wall!

This pump is a LIFE SAVER! Small but mighty. Packs the punch of a medical grade pump but it’s the size of a phone. One of my favorite features is the auto change in stimulate mode. Pump sessions with my last baby were 30+ minutes. I can efficiently pump in less than 10!

Great little powerful pump. The long pull sets this pump apart. The only downside is the limited flange sizes. However, the flanges are interchangeable with the zomee Z2 parts that have more sizes and you are able to select as your replacement parts covered by insurance.

I absolutely love my Baby Buddha 2.0! It is so powerful and empties me quickly. There are many different levels for everyone. The long pull is great for emptying the breasts quickly and mimics the baby’s movement as if they were nursing. The charge lasts me most of the day. I do plug it in often when I’m not using it just to be certain. You can use the pump while it’s charging. I paid my BB with their collection cups for a more handsfree setup. I use this pump as my primary pump.

Which BabyBuddha Pump Is Right for You?

BabyBuddha makes the choice straightforward: the 2.0 is your primary everyday pump, and the Wearable is your hands-free companion for added flexibility. Here's a closer look at each.

BabyBuddha 2.0 Breast Pump

BabyBuddha 2.0 Portable Breast Pump

Best for: Moms who want a powerful, rechargeable portable pump they can rely on every single day - at home, at work, or on the go.

The BabyBuddha 2.0 is the brand's primary portable breast pump, and it's built for everyday use. Don't let its compact size fool you - this pump delivers hospital-strength suction ranging from 53 to 315 mmHg across 21 unique settings, including soft stimulation, classic stimulation, and expression modes. That kind of range means you can fine-tune your sessions for comfort and output, whether you're just starting out or deep into your pumping journey.

The rechargeable battery lasts approximately one hour on a full charge and powers up through USB-C, so you can top it off from a laptop, car adapter, or portable charger. You can even pump while it charges. A built-in LCD display makes it easy to see your settings at a glance, and the included lanyard lets you wear the pump around your neck for hands-free convenience without a pumping bra.

BabyBuddha designed the 2.0 with an anti-backflow system to keep expressed milk safely separated from the motor. All parts that contact breast milk are BPA-free, and the components are straightforward to disassemble and clean.

Insurance: The BabyBuddha 2.0 is available as an upgrade item through most insurance plans. That means your plan covers a portion of the cost, and you pay the difference. A secondary insurance plan may reduce or eliminate your out-of-pocket cost entirely.

BabyBuddha Wearable

BabyBuddha Wearable Breast Pump

Best for: Moms who want an in-bra, hands-free option for added flexibility - especially as a companion to the BabyBuddha 2.0 or another primary pump.

Launched in late 2025, the BabyBuddha Wearable is the brand's in-bra companion pump. BabyBuddha is upfront about its role: this is designed as a secondary pump, not a primary one. That's an honest distinction that sets the right expectations. If you're looking for total hands-free convenience - pumping while cooking, commuting, or getting the older kids ready for school - the Wearable delivers.

The suction pattern is inspired by the BabyBuddha 2.0, including the brand's signature long-pull stimulation pattern. With 30 comfort settings spread across four modes (soft stimulation, classic stimulation, classic expression, and double drop expression), there's plenty of room to find what works for you. The 6 oz+ collection cups are generous for a wearable, and built-in LED lights inside the cups make nighttime sessions easier without turning on overhead lights.

The pump charges via rapid magnetic charging cables - no fumbling with USB ports. It's lightweight, quiet, and comes with a full range of insert sizes (13, 15, 17, 19, and 21 mm) right in the box, so most moms can find a comfortable fit without ordering extras.

Insurance: The BabyBuddha Wearable is available as an upgrade item through many insurance plans. Check your specific coverage to see your options.

Key Specs:

  • Type: Double electric wearable (in-bra) breast pump
  • Modes: 4 modes with 30 comfort settings
  • Cup capacity: 6 oz+
  • Charging: Rapid magnetic charging
  • Lighting: In-cup LED lights for low-light pumping
  • Flanges included: 24 mm silicone flanges + inserts in 13, 15, 17, 19, and 21 mm
  • Warranty: 2-year limited manufacturer warranty

Features Moms Love About BabyBuddha Breast Pumps

Serious Suction in a Small Package

BabyBuddha's hospital-strength suction stands out in the portable and wearable category. The 2.0 reaches up to 315 mmHg, which is stronger than many full-size electric pumps. Even the Wearable draws from the same suction design philosophy, giving you real pumping performance in a compact form factor.

True Portability Without Compromise

Both pumps are fully rechargeable and cord-free during use. The 2.0 hangs from a lanyard for a lightweight, go-anywhere setup, while the Wearable tucks into your bra and disappears under clothing. Neither one requires you to sit next to an outlet.

A Lineup That Works Together

Most brands sell individual pumps. BabyBuddha designed a primary pump and a companion pump that share a similar suction approach. That means you can use the 2.0 as your workhorse and keep the Wearable on hand for times when you need full hands-free convenience - and the experience stays consistent.

Support Beyond the Pump

BabyBuddha offers lactation consultant access, live chat support, flange sizing guidance, and educational content for customers. It's a brand that invests in helping you pump effectively, not just selling you hardware.

Additional flange kits are available separately through 1 Natural Way. Finding the right flange size is important for comfort and output - our lactation consultants can help you determine your best fit.

How long does the BabyBuddha 2.0 battery last?

Are BabyBuddha pumps BPA-free?

Yes. BabyBuddha states that all parts that come in contact with breast milk are BPA-free. The brand also notes that its products have been tested and found to be lead-free.

Is the BabyBuddha Wearable quiet enough to use at work?

BabyBuddha describes the Wearable as ultra-quiet, and its in-bra design makes it one of the more discreet options available. Many moms use wearable pumps at work or in shared spaces. That said, noise perception varies from person to person, so it's worth trying it in your own environment.
