In 2014, I started 1 Natural Way with one goal: to make it easier for moms to access the care and tools they need during one of life's most important and often overwhelming moments.

My path to founding this company is deeply personal. When my wife and I were expecting our first child, we faced unexpected challenges with breastfeeding. Watching her navigate those struggles without clear guidance or support opened my eyes to how impersonal and fragmented the system can be, especially around maternal care. With a background in medical equipment and experience in the baby retail space, I knew the system could be better. I had seen firsthand how moms were treated when trying to get essential care: the process was cold, clinical, confusing, and entirely lacking in empathy.

That is why we built 1 Natural Way differently.

We set out to create a more compassionate experience, one that educated moms on their insurance-covered benefits, offered clear and supportive guidance, and made access to essential products as easy and stress-free as possible. What began as a team of four has grown into a dedicated group of over 30 team members and 18 full-time contractors, including 12 certified International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (highest level) serving moms across all 50 states, U.S. territories, and military bases overseas.

When we started, the breast pump market was smaller, with very limited options available to moms. We began with Medela, added Spectra two years later, and have since expanded to offer over 14 manufacturers, 38 models and hundreds of supporting products, ensuring moms have real choices that meet their unique needs.

We have also built a robust in-house telehealth program to support every stage of motherhood, offering lactation counseling, maternal nutrition guidance, and mental health screenings throughout pregnancy and postpartum-because care should not stop at the product, it should wrap around the entire journey.

At 1 Natural Way, we also believe every mom deserves access to trusted breast pumps and medical supplies, regardless of insurance status or limitations. That's why we've also introduced our Moms First! Preferred Pricing program for moms who may be out of network, uninsured, or no longer eligible for coverage under their plan.

Lastly, in a digital world, where privacy has been slowly eroded, we've also made strong commitments to data privacy, ensuring that any information shared with us is kept secure, private, and never sold or shared. As a medical supplier serving a sensitive and deeply personal time in our customers' lives, we believe in transparency and being proactive in communicating our standards. We want to unequivocally assure our customers and the broader community that 1NaturalWay does not (and will not) share or distribute private information with any third-party advertisers, marketing entities, or any unauthorized organizations. Our practices strictly adhere to national and local privacy regulations, including HIPAA, to ensure your health and personal information remain confidential and protected.

As we grow, we remain committed to advocating for moms at the state and federal level, working for better coverage, better access, and better care. We stay engaged so that you do not have to carry that burden alone.
